Autocomplete not working on new Zyxel “H” series firewalls

Hi everyone,

On the new Zyxel firewalls (the “H” series), the autocomplete function no longer works properly.

When creating or editing firewall rules, you now always have to use the mouse to select objects, even if they already exist in your object lists. Previously, you could simply type and jump between fields using the keyboard, and autocomplete would handle the rest — which made creating and adjusting rules much faster.

At the moment, this slows down configuration work quite a bit. Would be great if the old autocomplete behavior could be restored in a future firmware update.

Since the UI of the web GUI between ZLD and uOS are different, the uOS(H series) can't have autocomplete currently. We will monitor the commands and votes of this idea to evaluate.

Hi @ZyXEL _Melen,

Yes, I understand that the UI on uOS is different, but please consider bringing the autocomplete feature back. For us users, it’s really important to be able to configure rules with as little mouse interaction as possible. When working with many rules, not having autocomplete makes the process quite tedious and unnecessarily time-consuming.
