Advice on din-rail transformer to power GS1915-8EP switch

I’m looking to install a GS1915 in a relatively small electrical enclosure. The standard AC-DC adapter is too bulky and with too much cable. For that reason I’m looking to hook it up to a din-rail transformer, but I can’t seem to find any that has exactly the same specs as the standard adapter: 55V - 1.3A. And I can’t find the working range in the devices spec sheets. Can anyone advice on the working range and on what transformer (type/model) from a reputable brand (f.i. Hager, ABB) to use, allowing for full PoE use?

    Hi @Mentos5000,

    Welcome to Zyxel Community!

Regarding your requirement, please note that using a non-original or third-party DIN-rail power supply is not recommended, as variations in voltage or current stability may lead to PoE devices not receiving sufficient power, potential system reboots, or in some cases, damage to the switch.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi @Mentos5000,

After discussion, our suggestion for operating the switch is to use a DC power adapter rated between 48 V and 55 V, with a minimum output power of 72 W.
