USG110 behind modem. All appears well, however when trying to access portal.myzyxel.com from Config - licensing, the portal link does not function. (" could not connect". It does work from attached laptop).

I now see a warning:

DataTables warning: table id=DataTables_Table_0 - Invalid JSON response. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/1

Any guidance or comments appreciated. Jeff

On my zywall110, I am redirected to https://accounts.myzyxel.com/users/sign_in successfully after clicking the link portal.myzyxel.com from Config - licensing.

Could you take a video of the redirect issue?

Maybe someone having the same question could give you the suggestion.

My device just registered by the way you described successfully two days ago:)

Which browser did you use? maybe you should try again with different browser.

thanks for replies. I see that as my USG110 is behind a router in bridge mode, the link fails, trying to connect to an internal local address. Myzyxel reg etc works via web browsers ok, but auto f/w updates and signatures do not function. (No great problem).

Will your router do any kind of security check or block specific traffic? What if you connect your USG110 WAN directly?

Hi- thanks for your interest. Router is SBG3300. I tried disabling firewall but same result.

The Config - licensing-registration "portal.myzyxel.com" tries to link to 192.169.1.43/myzyxel_registration.cgi where local IP is the device.

I did try different default browsers.

( p.s. I shall be transferring the USG to another site shortly so will try again from there)

My sincere apologies! Apparently I had not saved my bridge settings; I repeated all steps and this time all worked! So sorry to waste your time, Jeff
