How to reset to factory settings NWA3550-N.

I didn't find the reset button.

    Please note that the NWA3550-N is an older model and has been EOL for quite some time, so we do not have the physical device available for reference. Also, our support for this model is limited.

    Could you please check if you can find a small reset button on your device similar to the one shown in the image below? If not, kindly provide us with detailed photos of your device.

    Get yourself a console cable, and plug it into the console port and use a terminal software (e.g., PuTTY or Tera Term).

    Even without an admin password, some firmware versions let you interrupt boot at the very first stage (boot loader) before the OS prompts for login.

    There you may be able to issue a reset command or wipe the config. Can't remember the exact procedure, but upon interrupting the boot process, there will be a possibility to upload a factory-default config file (default-config.rom usually) that you have to upload with xkermit protocol.
    This will reset it.


    I recall this one had a small utility that could do it independently on its config, but I dunno where to get it from.
