Customers Complaining about ZyXel WiFi on Security Devices (ie. 50ax for exmaple)

I recently sold several USG AX50, customers are complaining of unstable wifi and poor performance with huge loss of speed over their ISP provided router, when i called support i was told that it is what it is and to add an AP, in this case the computers are very close to the router, say 40ft, customer used to get 500Mbps with her Helix Router, now getting 250/300 and someimes dropping to 60Mbps, before i get a Ubiquiti access point i was curious if anyone else was having the same issues..

This could be because:

1. The USG FLEX 50AX is a firewall with a wireless hotspot. It provides security services that inspect traffic, which reduces throughput as expected.
2. The antenna number is different from the compared device. The USG FLEX 50AX only supports two antennas, which could cause congestion when many WiFi users are connecting.
3. The channel utilization is high when the speed drops. It is recommended lower the output power of 2.4 GHz band, so the client can connect to 5 GHz more often, which provides a better connection.

If you require extra AP, you may also consider Zyxel AP.
