The latest USG FLEX H firewall series is powered by the new uOS, which is designed to minimize system response time and improve overall system efficiency, including the following features:

  • Enhanced VPN Security with IKEv2 AES-GCM Support

IPsec VPN now supports IKEv2 with AES-GCM encryption for both Site-to-Site and Remote Access connections, delivering superior performance and authenticated encryption for your secure communications.

  • Seamless Cloud Identity Login

Our Captive Portal and SSL VPN now support Microsoft Entra ID and Google as OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity providers, enabling secure, frictionless authentication with existing cloud identities. This integration simplifies user access, accelerates deployment, and supports modern Zero Trust and cloud-first strategies.

  • Application-Aware Policy Routing

Policy routing now includes application-based matching criteria, allowing you to intelligently direct traffic flows based on specific applications for optimized network performance and enhanced control.

  • Simplified Network Discovery with mDNS Proxy*Local only

Multicast DNS Proxy support enables seamless service discovery across VLANs and subnets, allowing Apple devices, Chromecast, and other mDNS-enabled devices to communicate effortlessly throughout your network.

    • Interface Rate Limiting -Configure ingress and egress bandwidth limits per interface for precise traffic control.
    • 802.1p QoS Marking - Bandwidth Management now supports 802.1p priority tagging for Layer 2 QoS.
    • DHCP Table Import -Bulk import DHCP reservations to simplify network configuration and migration.
    • Dark Mode -New dark theme option for comfortable viewing in low-light environments.
    • APC Per-AP Radio Settings - Configure wireless radio parameters individually for each access point.
    • APC Top N Traffic Analytics- Identify highest bandwidth consumers across your wireless network
    • Wireless Diagnostics- Built-in packet capture and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting wireless issues
    • Enhanced Daily Reports- Email reports now include comprehensive wireless access point statistics and health data.
