The school aimed to provide fast, stable, and secure wireless connectivity across the entire campus, supporting a wide range of digital learning tools and mobile devices used by both teachers and students. By adopting Zyxel Networks' solutions, the school eliminated dead zones and significantly improved network speed and reliability. As network security was also a top priority, advanced firewalls were deployed to provide threat protection and ensure a secure online environment for educational activities. Additionally, the solution enabled centralized network management with remote access, allowing IT staff to detect and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Challenges

For security, ATP500 and ATP700 firewalls were deployed, offering multi-layer cloud-based protection with intelligent threat detection, application control, intrusion prevention, and anti-malware capabilities. The built-in SecuReporter provided real-time graphical reports and alerts, enabling the IT team to monitor and respond to security events effectively.

To improve wireless coverage and performance, the school installed Zyxel Networks' WAX610D access points throughout indoor areas, ensuring high-speed connections and energy efficiency with PoE+ support. Outdoor connectivity was also strengthened with WAC6553D-E APs, designed for challenging environments with advanced RF technology. XGS1930-28HP and XGS1930-52 Lite-L3 smart managed switches supported multi-gigabit speeds and smart management features to further boost performance and scalability. Together, these solutions created a fast, secure, and manageable network to support Wego's digital learning vision.
