Zyxel 8-Port PoE 2.5G Multi-Gig Unmanaged Switch @ 100W -- XMG-108HP
Options
Hi all,
I do have a question before I will invest in a Zyxel 8-port (XMG-108HP).
As I do have so far 2 access points in use from Zyxel (NWA50BE), I would like to know if that switch will fit with those access points?
I'd like to have a future proofed setup, especially when it comes enough speed in the coming years.
Grateful for any feedback.
best regards

Looking at the spec it would seem so the one AP is PoE (802.3at): power draw is 16W the switch is 802.3bt PoE++, 60 W with a budget of 100W

Hi @Tomatoman,
Yes, the Zyxel XMG-108HP switch fully supports your NWA50BE access points.
- The switch has 8 × 2.5 GbE PoE++ ports with a total 100 W PoE budget, and it is backward compatible with 802.3at (PoE+) devices.
- The NWA50BE supports 802.3at (PoE+) power and has a 2.5 GbE uplink port, so it will connect and power correctly from this switch.
