USG FLEX 700H - Problems

Hello:

I currently have a USG FLEX 700H with firmware version 1.37(ABZI.1). I've been experiencing unexpected devicerestarts.

Upon checking the systemmonitoring, I observed that both CPU and RAM usage remain at high levels. Torule out a configuration issue, I performed a factory reset, restoring thedevice to its default settings.

However, even in this defaultstate, with only one device connected, RAM usage continues to be excessivelyhigh.

Iwould appreciate your assistance in determining whether this behavior could berelated to a firmware problem or a hardware failure.

From the screenshot you shared, the current memory usage is around 52.5%, which is below the system’s default threshold for “Memory High” (80%). Normally, when memory usage exceeds 80%, the device will generate a Memory High log event. Based on the value shown, the device is currently operating within a normal range.

Additionally, the Memory High log is a notification mechanism to remind administrators to monitor the system status. Even if the memory usage exceeds the threshold and the log is generated, it does not mean the device will crash or stop operating.

To properly evaluate whether there is a memory-related issue, please observe the memory usage trend over time. If the memory usage keeps increasing continuously and never drops, even when the device is not under heavy load, this may indicate abnormal memory behavior.

However, if the memory usage occasionally rises due to traffic or processing load and later drops back down, this is generally considered normal behavior.

If you continue to experience unexpected device restarts, please help collect the diagnostic info file with the configuration file when the issue occurs and provide them to us via private message. This will allow us to perform further analysis.
