Both of my GS1200-5 and GS1200-8's web interface stopped working completely.

Hello,

While I wanted to configure both of my switches, I couldn't connect to the web interface of them. No matter what I've done (factory reset, pinging 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.3), the Windows machine output was "PING: transmit failed. General failure.", and my Kubuntu's terminal thrown out "Network is unreachable".

How can I fix this?

    Hi @bestioon ,

The "General failure" and "Network is unreachable" errors typically indicate that your computer does not have a valid route to the switch's IP address, often because the PC's network interface is not configured within the same subnet as the switch.

So please try to assign a Static IP for your PC that in the same subnet with switch (192.168.1.3 after reset). Set your PC for example: IP Address: 192.168.1.100 / Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
And then, connect your PC directly to one of the switch ports using a known-working Ethernet cable and try to access switch's GUI again.

Note that: Confirm that the Port LED and the PWR/SYS LED on the switch are solid green. If the Port LED does not light up when the cable is plugged in, try a different port or cable.
