Hi @MarcVB ,
To troubleshoot why your WBE530 is not broadcasting the SSID, please check the following configuration points in Nebula:
- Configuration Status: Go to Devices > Access points and verify if the AP status shows "Up to date". If it shows "Updating" or "Not up to date", the AP hasn't fully applied the SSID settings yet.
- SSID Tags: Check Configure > Access points > SSID settings. If you have any "Tags" assigned to the SSID, ensure the same tag is also applied to the WBE530 under the AP's specific settings. If the tags do not match, the AP will not broadcast that SSID.
- Power Mode: The WBE530 is a high-performance AP. If it is powered by a standard PoE (802.3af) switch instead of PoE+ (802.3at) or PoE++ (802.3bt), it may operate in a limited power mode which can disable certain radio bands or the entire wireless service.
- Radio Settings: Verify that the SSID is enabled for the specific radio bands (2.4GHz, 5GHz, or 6GHz) you are trying to scan for.
To narrow down the issue, could you share:
- What is the current Firmware version and Configuration status (e.g., Up to date) of the AP in Nebula?
- What is the current LED status (color and blinking pattern) on the physical device?
- How is the AP being powered (PoE injector, PoE switch model, or DC adapter)?
