Can I determine which firmware version is pre-installed based on the labels on the USGFLEX200H device and the box?

Best regards :)

    Hi @Wojtek ,

It is not possible to determine the exact pre-installed firmware version simply by looking at the labels on the USG FLEX 200H device or its packaging.

To better assist you, could you please share the reason you would like to know the pre-installed firmware version?

    Thank you for your response.

In the PDF document titled “USG FLEX H Series [Firewall] - upgrade/update procedure,” you mention the need for a multi-step firmware update: factory version -> v1.08 Patch1 -> v1.10.
The latest firmware version is 1.37.
I would like to know in advance whether I will be able to update the firmware directly to the latest version, or if I will have to do it in several steps.

    Best regards :)

    Hi @Wojtek ,

For your case, we recommend booting up the USG FLEX 200H and registering the device to Nebula via the Web GUI Wizard. Once registered, you can use Nebula to perform the firmware update directly, and the firmware steps mentioned in the document can be skipped.

This solution however seems not fitting the "on premise" setup…

May a boot with serial connection (and no ethernet one) deliver the message?
