Facing Connectivity Issue Between VMs in Azure VNet – Need Help
Hi everyone,
While working on Azure VNet, I faced an issue where I created one VNet with two subnets and deployed a VM in each subnet, but both VMs are not able to communicate (ping/RDP not working).
I checked NSG rules, VM status, and IP configuration, and everything looks fine, but still no connectivity. I am not sure if I am missing something related to routing or security settings.
I have been exploring AZ-700 exam topics for the Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate Certification and also using resources like Pass4Future for VMs in Azure VNet questions. This helps me understand my concerns a little bit, but I want to understand the real issue behind this scenario.
• What could be the possible reason for this problem?

Hi @Tonybenxu,
Welcome to the Zyxel Community!
If you are currently using a Zyxel NSG (Nebula Security Gateway) series device in this setup, please be aware that the NSG products have reached their End of Life (EOL) status. This means our support for these models is now limited.
For optimized performance, the latest security features, and ongoing technical support, we highly recommend considering our current USG FLEX H series offerings. You can find more information here:
Firewall (NGFW) | Zyxel Networks
However, if you are using other Zyxel devices and the issue persists, please provide more information so we can help. For example, device model name, firmware version, network topology, etc.
