Has anyone set up a usg 500h on trooli and did you manage to get an external wan address

    Regarding your question, are you unable to obtain a proper IP address from your Trooli ISP, preventing internet access?

    Additionally, to better understand your situation, could you please help clarify a few details about your setup?

    • What type of WAN connection does Trooli provide in your environment (e.g., DHCP, PPPoE)?
    • What IP address is currently assigned to the WAN interface of your USG 500H?
    • Is the USG connected directly to the ISP ONT, or is there an ISP router in between?

    Please note that WAN IP assignment depends on the ISP’s configuration. In some cases, ISPs may use CGNAT or require specific settings (such as PPPoE credentials or VLAN tagging), which could affect whether a public (external) IP address is obtained.
