Hardening Access: Password Complexity and History

To comply with modern risk assessment standards, Zyxel has introduced advanced password policies for H series firewalls.

New Security Constraints

Administrators can now enable policies that prohibit passwords from being identical to the username. Additionally, the system can enforce a history of up to 12 previous passwords, preventing users from cycling between the same few credentials. 

his history is maintained across reboots, ensuring a consistently high security posture for administrative access.
