Trying to get a Pitney Bowes mailer to work and during it's self test, it attempts to ping 8.8.8.8. It gets no response. I have tested pinging from a separate computer on the same network and am getting no response from 8.8.8.8. I am getting responses from 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9. My DHCP pool has 8.8.8.8 as the secondary DNS. Not sure what I am missing. Device is a USG20-VPN. Firmware is 4.35(ABAQ.0)

    Hi @Merryworks,

Can you provide network topology with IP/subnet?

You can hide the public IP.

It could be that your ISP is blocking 8.8.8.8 as your able to ping 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9.

can you connect a PC to the modem without USG20-VPN to ping 8.8.8.8
