How can I migrate configurations from XGS1930 to XGS1935 switches?

The XGS1930 and XGS1935 switches are part of different model series, meaning they have distinct hardware and firmware designs. As per the current firmware design, configuration settings cannot be directly transferred across different switch models.

However, we recommend the following approaches to ease the migration process:

1. Set up Configuration Templates:
   • Navigate to Organization-wide > Organization-wide manage > Configuration templates.
   • Create templates for site-level configurations that are common and adjust them as necessary for individual switches.
2. Utilize Port Profiles:
   • Go to Site-wide > Configure > Switches > Port profiles.

3. Establish a Baseline XGS1935 Switch:
   • Manually configure a starter XGS1935 switch as a baseline.
