Hi guys, at office i have an GS1920-24HP POE that have a strange issue, it lost config after power loss..
the switch doesnt'have a real config, only changed default password, but when power loss accours it lost saved password..

    Hi @Rickyc81 ,

    This behavior occurs because of how configuration saving works on Zyxel switches. When you apply a setting or change a password in the web GUI, it is only temporarily saved to the switch's Running Configuration. If the switch is powered off or rebooted, these unsaved settings are lost and the switch reverts back to its last saved startup configuration.

    To ensure your new password persists through a power loss, please follow these steps:

    1. Change the Password: Go to the configuration page and change your default password as you normally do.
    2. Save the Configuration: Look at the top-right corner of the web GUI. You will see a flashing Save button (or disk icon). Click on it to save the active running configuration to the startup configuration (saving it to Config 1).
    3. Alternative Save Method: You can also navigate to MAINTENANCE > Configuration > Save Configuration (or Maintenance > Save Configuration depending on your layout) and save your current configuration.
