Question:
Why does the NCC event log show a “logs were dropped” message on USG FLEX H models?
Answer:
The reason is that the device's local logs currently display a maximum number of log entries at a time. Any additional logs are dropped and therefore not shown on the NCC side. NCC will instead display a message such as “193 logs were dropped,” without showing the dropped logs themselves.
For example, the maximum number of log entries that can be uploaded from the USG FLEX 700H is 2,048. As a result:
(1) Logs from 0 to 2048 can be displayed on the local web GUI and NCC.
(2) Logs from 2049 onward won’t be uploaded to Nebula.
