Request for legacy firmware versions from V4.20 to V4.70
Freshman Member
Hello,
I have a Zyxel USG310 currently running firmware V4.10 and I would like to upgrade it to the latest available version, V4.73(AAPJ.2)C0.
Since the currently installed firmware is very old, I would prefer to perform the upgrade gradually rather than jumping directly from V4.10 to V4.73.
Unfortunately, the Zyxel Download Library currently seems to provide only the latest firmware, and I have not been able to find the older releases.
Could someone from Zyxel or the community please provide download links/files for the following USG310 (AAPJ) firmware versions?
- V4.20(AAPJ.2)C0
- V4.25(AAPJ.1)C0
- V4.30(AAPJ.0)C0
- V4.38(AAPJ.0)C0
- V4.62(AAPJ.0)C0
- V4.65(AAPJ.1)C0
- V4.70(AAPJ.0)C0
If not all of these intermediate versions are necessary, I would also appreciate confirmation of the recommended upgrade path from V4.10 to V4.73(AAPJ.2)C0, together with download links for the required intermediate firmware versions.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi @fabiocarboni ,
Please note that the USG310 has reached End of Life (EOL), and support for this model is now limited. You can explore alternative models here:
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Have a great day!

Your just going to have to jump directly from V4.10 to V4.73 even if you have to start over.
We see this some times about people wanting old firewall but what gets me is how people not maintain keeping the firmware up to date? especially due to security updates.
I do run some of the old models myself but you should note there can be security issues due to EOL that are not known and so is recommend you go for FLEX H model.

clueless customer (the device is not broken, you don't have to operate on it)
clueless customer 2 (the device is not broken, you don't have to operate on it even if it's about security concern)
clueless customer 3 (the device is installed so I am protected)
greedy customer (if you don't do this for free you don't do that)Too many times any device should auto-manage it by itself i mean.. all computers and phones do that, no? :-)
Trying to be useful to OP
AFAIR at least 4.39 is mandatory in the upgrade path.0
