Why does a bridge interface show 0.0.0.0 as its IP address in Port Status?

When I put an interface into bridge mode, the Port Status widget shows 0.0.0.0 instead of the assigned IP. Is this normal?

Yes, this is expected behavior. The Port Status widget displays the IP address bound to the physical port itself. In bridge mode, the IP address is configured on the bridge interface rather than on the individual member port — so the port shows 0.0.0.0/0 while the bridge interface holds the actual address.

If you would like to check the correct IP address for a bridged interface, please go to Network > Interface to see the IP address assigned to the bridge interface.
