The latest USG FLEX H firewall series is powered by the new uOS, which is designed to minimize system response time and improve overall system efficiency, including the following features:

  • Nebula SD-VPN Remote Access — Site-Wide and Org-Wide

uOS-powered USG FLEX H series firewalls can now add Remote Access VPN subnets to Nebula SD-VPN. Remote users securely reach local networks behind any VPN gateway in the same SD-VPN community — replacing repetitive site-by-site VPN setup with a single cloud-managed workflow.

  • RAP Support — Secure WiFi for Remote Workplaces

Available in uOS 1.40, the Secure WiFi feature enables a "drop-in" Remote Access Point that replicates your office SSID and automatically establishes a secure tunnel to the corporate network — delivering a plug-and-play remote workplace solution without compromising security or IT control.

  • Bitdefender Endpoint Integration

Unify network perimeter security and endpoint visibility on USG FLEX H series firewalls. License Visibility — View Bitdefender license status, active modules, and expiration directly from the firewall GUI. Endpoint Device Insights — Automatically sync endpoint information via Bitdefender API, including OS, OS version, device category/type, and security vendor.

  • Resilient Multi-Site Connectivity with Zero-Touch Failover

Empower your distributed enterprise with Local Out Routing. This new feature ensures remote firewalls maintain continuous, uninterrupted connections to central HQ services—including AD/RADIUS authentication, internal DNS domain lookup, syslog, and SNMP traps—by utilizing a single device loopback interface IP to automatically reroute traffic through redundant VPN tunnels during network disruptions.

  • Additional Enhancements
    • FQDN Support for Bandwidth Management (BWM)- Bandwidth Management (BWM) policies can now be applied using Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs).
    • RADIUS Accounting Support-Enabling detailed session tracking — including login time, session duration, and data usage.
    • UAM User Authentication Rate Limiting -protecting against brute-force attacks and reducing authentication server load in high-density environments.
