Sorry for the confusion. That item actually fixed a different issue: the FQDN object previously allowed two asterisks (*) in its FQDN setting. We will correct the release note accordingly.

As for your previous case, it was recorded as a feature request, since the change you mentioned is a feature change rather than a bug fix.
