Overview

Perfumerias Ana, a beauty and personal care company with more than 50 years of experience, has modernized its WiFi infrastructure with Zyxel Networksʼ solutions, delivered through its partner Go Sistemas, S.L. The new deployment ensures broader coverage and faster connectivity for both employees and customers, while enhancing security, boosting productivity, and supporting future-ready operations.

Challenges

The company needed to replace its entire firewall infrastructure for both internal and external communications under a strict "zero-impact" requirement. To fully support the new security architecture and ensure seamless integration, it also had to upgrade its entire WiFi network with more powerful equipment designed to deliver greater connection flexibility, higher speeds, and enhanced security.

At the same time, the company's continuous evolution of internal processes demanded increased bandwidth capacity. All of this had to be supported by simplified cloud-based management and a competitive price-to-value ratio to ensure the company is well prepared for future license renewals.

As part of the project, fifteen NWA90AX PRO WiFi 6 access points, twelve USG FLEX 100H firewalls, two USG FLEX 700H firewalls, and twelve GS1200-5HP v2 web managed PoE gigabit switches were deployed.

Previously, the company relied on another vendor’s products, which have now been fully replaced by Zyxel Networks' solutions across all network categories. The central firewalls serve as a critical interconnection point between the cloud-based eCommerce platform and the on-premises servers, ensuring maximum security and operational continuity across all mission-critical processes. All the devices are centrally managed through the cloud-based Nebula platform, enabling streamlined, simplified management and efficient network operations.

The project was completed quickly and smoothly, supported by a strong partnership with Go Sistemas, as well as the competitive price-performance ratio and top-notch cloud licenses provided by Zyxel Networks.

Results

Thanks to this high-performance network, Perfumerias Ana has experienced doubled bandwidth, faster speeds, and significant latency improvements. Also, with downtime virtually eliminated, the company has doubled productivity across offices and the warehouse to meet evolving business needs.
