What are the system requirements to install and run Zyxel Access Point Configurator (ZAC)?

    Hi @Drewbroughton_63

    Here is the system that we tested for ZAC.

    Operating system

    • Microsoft® 7 (32-bit, 64-bit)
    • Windows® 8 (32-bit, 64-bit
    • Windows® 8.1 (32-bit, 64-bit)

    My PC OS is Windowns 10, and ZAC seems work fine on my PC.

    Did you meet any issue while installing/running ZAC?

    Hi. As a matter of fact, Yes. I have run the installation file on both Win 8 and Win 10. Both cases created a shortcut and offered to launch on [installation] completion. However, the program has not run successfully nor shown any evidence of running nor showing up in task manager. Any ideas?

    ZyXEL AP Configurator(ZAC) supported Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 (32 / 64 bit ) OS version; however, we must install or update the "Microsoft .NET Framework" to the latest version. Could you help to confirm if the Microsoft .NET Framework has been installed on the PC?

    Hi. MS .net framework is already installed (prior to my original enquiry). ZAC does not run still

    Hi @Drewbroughton_63

    We thought it is related with the PC system because there is no restrictions or specific conditions to enable ZAC.

    Would you like to

    1. try to use "system administrator" to open ZAC.
    2. disable Firewall on the PC to observe if ZAC could work.
    3. confirm if there is any restriction from the AD server.
