Hi, on my USG40 when I try "initial setup wizard" and click on CONNECTION TEST I get:

"Connection type is detected as DHCP but internet connectivity has failed because the device cannot get an IP Address"

why?

(USG40 connect to ISP router by WAN Port P1)

thank you

How are you connected to your ISP? do you get the WAN IP or is the ISP router doing NAT.

If you connect a PC to your ISP equipment do you get a IP WAN or LAN?

    Hi @damianodec

Can you try to collect the packet on WAN and LAN and check if there is any DHCP packet go through the interface?

Here is the example how to collect packet.

GO to Maintenance > Diagnostics > Packet Capture > Capture to select the Capture Interfaces > click Capture

After doing the test, click stop and go to Maintenance > Diagnostics > Packet Capture > Files > select the files and click Download to check the packet on WAN & LAN

    hi @Zyxel_Jerry

    thank you for help.

Now I connect by another ethernet port on ISP router. This is my configuration office:

    and it works.

    my internal Lan is 192.168.1.xxx - 255.255.255.0.

on Wan1 gateway is 192.168.1.1 (ISP router).

I configured a SSL VPN and if I use from my home Secure extender with:

Server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443 (xxx is my IP public) user and password

It connects but I see just lan 192.168.6.xxx

How can I to see lan 192.168.1.xxx ?

    thank you
