(1) Create VPN Gateway for L2TP

(2) Create VPN connection for L2TP

(3) Setup L2TP VPN setting

(4) Create policy route for Intranet/Internet routing

(1) Click "Quick Setup" button and click VPN setup

(2) Select L2TP VPN setting

(3) Select WAN interface and enter pre-shared key

(4) Enter IP range for L2TP VPN client. And DNS IP address.

Setup L2TP configuration on PC

(1) Open Network & Internet setting
Click VPN > Add a VPN connection

(2) Setup VPN setting.
Set VPN type as L2TP/IPSec with pre-shared key, and enter server IP, PSK, and username password.

(3) double check L2TP VPN connection setting
Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network connection
Right click on L2TP VPN connection which you the created.
a. Check IP address

b. Check VPN type and authentication protocol.

c. Check pre-shared key in Advance setting.

Setup L2TP configuration on IOS

Go to Settings > General> VPN> Click "Add VPN Configuration" button to create VPN configuration.

Setup L2TP configuration on Android

Go to Settings > Wireless & Network > More > VPN.
Click "+" button to create VPN configuration.

After created VPN configuration and trigger the VPN connection, Username and password is required.

Access to device by secure way after building L2TP VPN tunnel

Since client already built L2TP VPN tunnel, so all of traffic will pass into VPN tunnel.
So you can access device WebGUI by any activated interface IP address.

You can check your interface IP address on your device first.
(Configuration > Network > Interface)

Then enter IP address on your browser to access your device GUI. (default port is 443)
e.g. https://192.168.102.1
