SMTP authentication for system log email not retained
in Configuration > Log & Report > Log Settings > Edit (System Log), the SMTP authentification settings are not retained. Each time after clicking 'OK', fields 'User Name', 'Password' and 'Retype to confirm' are empty and greyed out, the 'SMTP Authentification' is deselected.
I use the same server with identical account and config in Configuration > System > Notification > General Settings, where it works fine.

Hi @TorstenB,
I use ZyWALL110 with the firmware 4.33(AAAA.0) to run the test.
SMTP Authentification settings are retained as the following video.

Which model and firmware version are you using?
Could you take a video of the issue or share the steps with us?

Hi @Zyxel_Emily,
It is firmware 4.33 (ABAQ.0) on USG20-VPN.
I just did how you did in the video and it worked. The only difference is that I did not check 'STARTTLS'.
Problem solved. Thanks a lot!
