Hello everyone. We are monitoring our switches using SNMP. Have a lots of no response drops. Need to disable-enable SNMP on switches to get that statistic back. XGS3600-26F with Firmware Version V1.00(AABZ.2)C0

    Hi @maxsaf,

    Welcome to Zyxel community.

Please help me to verify the following:
    1. How long does it happen again when you disable-enable SNMP?
    2. Did other services (EX: Ping the switch, Forward packets ) work fine when the issue happened?
    3. What SNMP tool do you use to poll? Which OID do you want to poll from the switch?
    Thanks.
    Jason

We are receiving  SNMP info in about one hour after disable-enable SNMP. Any other services has no issue, we have ping, web management access and traffic passing thru with no problems. Also we have XGS4600 on same location, same MGMT Vlan and few routers with no problems with SNPM. Looks like only XGS3600-26F has that issue. We are using The Dude and LibreNMS polling default interface octets OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.X and 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.X, also reading device uptime using Paessler SNMP Tester just to check if SNMP service up or down.

    Hi all,

We have troubleshoot for this case, the issue happen when the user uses multiple SNMP tools to poll the data from the switch.
There is no issue in our local test(same model and same SNMP tools), so we suggest the user try to use single SNMP tool to poll the data.
As we monitor it for a period of time, it seems no same issue occur again.

You may share your situation on the forum if you met the similar issue.
    Thanks and hope it helps.
