NXC5500 Active Directory Authentication not working with FW 6.10

    Hi Sascha,

    We found the admin password is different.

    Here is the fuction.

    Would you like to confirm if the password was modified or not?

    I double checked and the password and user are correct.

    Hi Joslyn,

    I Downgraded to the version 6.00 yesterday and (except vor reactivating MSChap) changed nothing to the config. Everythings working normal again. The NXC registered its computeraccount in the AD and is authenticating like before.

    Just to test it I did the Update to version 6.10 agian (maybe there was an unnoticed error) but the discribed error came back.
    Se we will go on using version 6.00.

    Hi Sascha,

    We have several tests for different AD servers(2008R2 and 2012), and all of them are good to use. There might be some configurations that need to be adjusted on your server and our NXC. However, you have downgraded the NXC to 6.00 now. Anyway, if you still have any further question, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    same problem on USG FLEX firmware 5.31 with 2016 AD in 2022 and no articles about that.
    silly thing is that SSL AD auth works so the AD server config is correct but it does not join the domain so IPSEC AD auth cannot work
