Information about FQDN Bug on FW upgrade -> be careful

I just want to share an important KB from Zyxel about a odd bug with FQDN
Summary: If you use FQDN, read first, update second

well that was fun, after applying the weekly fw the usg60 decided to revert to factory default configuration, i had to find a old u232 and modify it so it would fit the console port so i could see what happened, well managed to restore a backup of the configuration and now i'm back to my old vlans and inet so life's goodDaniel_Habazin said:

Can I know before you upgrade the firmware, did you remove the FQDN first?
So far, we did not receive any case which is similar as yours.
Can you private message us your configuration file before upgrading the firmware?

yes, i followed the instructions fully so i did remove it, i only had two fqdn entries and i didn't even use one of them in the fw rulesZyxel_Charlie said:@Daniel_Habazin
