Alternative to Shrew IPSec Linux VPN Client
Options
Hi,
We have an USG20 since some years.
The only reliable and easy way we found to connect from a linux client to an USG IPsec GW was historically to use the shrewsoft VPN client.
Now we are upgrading to Ubuntu Focal and the Shrew package is no more maintened
(It hasn't been maintened by the editor since 2013 but was maintened by Canonical up to Ubuntu 18.04)
So my question is about an alternative to Shrew for a modern linux Distribution.
There is a lot of people in this forum struggling for example with Strongswan or Racoon or other solution but I can't find a solid official Zyxel FAQ about this.
