Anybody Use Zyxel Switches?

I'm in the process of upgrading my home network and have been looking at getting some sort of managed switch (just using standard home routers at the moment).

In my search I found these Zyxel switches and was wondering if anybody here has used them before and what they thought of them. They seem to tick all the boxes of what I'm looking for (fanless, compact, plenty of port options, and managed).

I guess it would depend on what features,
and what level of management that you need.

If you're looking for Layer 3 switching, advanced or granular control
of security features, broadcast filtering, etc., then Cisco is the way to go.
I've never seen a network switch with so many options as Cisco.  ;-)

However, if you're just looking for something that is VLAN capable,
then one of the managed Zyxel switches should work well for you,
    and are much more affordable.

I use a Zyxel GS1900-8HP at home, and it has been working well for several months.

It is fan-less, and handles multiple VLANS with ease.

The ZyXel GS1900 series switches are an excellent value if you are looking for a high quality managed switch. I have GS1900-24 and GS1900-16 managed switches running 24/7/365 for more than 3 years Connected to a 5-server set without a problem. They just do their job and work.
