Unicast Use of the Formerly Reserved 127/8

So just heard this on SECURITY NOW
https://www.ietf.org/id/draft-schoen-intarea-unicast-127-00.html
Should this go ahead zyxel will need to change the network route in USG from 127.0.0.0/8 to 127.0.0.0/16 from what I read.
