So there was a deal on the XGS1250 on amazon and for down the road upgrades to my network rig I might as will get one now in the end the SFP port will be used without the SFP+ RJ-45 Copper Transceiver but for the time being I had one and it works fine on my XS1930-10 but at first would not work in the XGS1250-12.

I tried a firmware update then changing the Speed/Type from auto to other settings did not help then I looked at the Flow Control which on the XS1930-10 was disabled and works fine with the Transceiver but thought might as well enable it and try it on the XGS1250-12...and it works!😮

    Hi @PeterUK

3rd party transceiver might occur IOP issues when using it. Additionally, since 10G copper transceivers usually generate more heat than 10G SFP transceivers, we don't recommend using 10G copper transceivers for XGS1250-12. If you insist on using it, please ensure the switch is not stacked with other devices (physically), as this can affect the heat dissipation.
