Starlink as failover on USG flex 100 H
Freshman Member
Hi all,
One of our clients has recently invested in a Starlink.
We are wondering if anyone has attempted to setup a Starlink as a failover connection on a network where there is a server running DNS and DHCP on a USG Flex 100H Firewall.
Kind regards,
Luke Archbold.

Hi @LukeArchbold ,
Based on your description, we understand your current topology is ISP Router — (WAN1) USG FLEX 100H — Server, and you would like to connect a Starlink router to the USG FLEX 100H's WAN2 interface for WAN failover.
If you're wondering about Starlink capability, please check directly with Starlink support.
For WAN failover configuration on the USG FLEX H firewall, please refer to the following article's WAN backup part:

Your talking about inbound traffic to a server? but does Starlink support full inbound traffic or just outbound only
