@mMontana Sorry for the late reply.
If your firewall is behind NAT, you need to manually change the local policy to the public IP and allow IKE, NATT, and L2TP-UDP on the WAN interface. you may refer to this clip.
Moreover, regarding the username/password incorrect issue, there is a case that some users may encounter, that is, the user account reaches the max number of simultaneous login. when it reaches the limitation, it rejects and show "username/password incorrect". You may enable "user idle detection" to force the idle user to log out.

I find strange and inappropriate that this topic, in public, is not viewable.
The only thing accessible, without login, is the answer from the zyxel representative.
Not the question, not the development, not the delays.
I have high opinion about zyxel products and software, commitment to solving issues, reliability, performances. Sometimes delivered updates has some issues, some products reach the market with not favorable comparison to concurrent brands and devices.
However.
Disabling the access when issues happens with customers in my book might not be the best way to handle dissatisfied persons. Helps only to leave faster the brand and the products.
Which are really good, I mean it. I run them since Zywall P1.Oh by the way: the video now is private, so the answer really is not helping anyone.
