Hello everyone,
I have an NWA130BE connected to a PoE+ Switch using the Uplink connection.

The NWA130BE have dual-LAN, one PoE+ Uplink and one LAN port.
The LAN port is PoE+ too? I need to connect an IP camera that can have the PoE functionality and I would like to use the LAN port for communications I would like to say if I can use PoE for powering the camera.

Thank you

    Hi @Maverick87 ,

The LAN port on the NWA130BE doesn't support PoE output (PSE). While the device features dual 2.5GbE ports, their capabilities are as follows:

    1. Uplink Port: Supports PoE+ (802.3at) input to power the access point itself.
    2. LAN Port: Functions as a standard data-only 2.5GbE port for connecting wired devices like a laptop or a printer. It cannot provide power to an IP camera.

Currently, Zyxel access point models that support PoE output on their LAN ports (PoE passthrough) are typically from the "Wall-Plate" series, such as the WAX300H or WAC500H.

If you need to power an IP camera from that location, you would need to use a separate PoE injector for the camera or use a PoE-powered switch (like the GS1200-5HP) to power both the AP and the camera.
