usgflex200h v1.39 - DHCP Issue
Freshman Member
Using LAG to connect to the upstream router; the 200h was working fine before the upgrade but now it cannot pull an IP from the upstream router the only way to get back online is to configure the LAG to static IP and to manually configure the Global Zone Forwarder. Connected other devices to the upstream router and they are pulling an IP so the issue is not the DHCP on the router (as far as i know).

Hi @chuckpr,
Since I tried to replicate this issue in my lab, but my 200H can get DHCP IP from uplink router. Please help to:
- Capture the DHCP packet on the WAN ports to check which DHCP stage the firewall got stuck.
- Share the DHCP packet with us if possible.
Reference FAQ to capture packet:
How do I capture the packets through the GUI on the USG Flex H model? — Zyxel Community

Followed the instructions. I selected all WAN interfaces (LAG, ge1, ge2), changed the host port to 514 and started capturing, changed the IP from static to DHCP client and let it run for a few minutes then stopped the capture, downloaded the files and opened them with wireshark but nothing is showing (no packets).

Hi @chuckpr
The port 514 is syslog port, which is an example in the FAQ. For DHCP packets, please set 67 or 68.
