Access Point Wifi Signal Cutout
Freshman Member
I am currently using around 350 of your active access point devices. As a feature enhancement, could the device be configured to stop broadcasting the signal if the uplink drops or the access point goes offline?
When a device in a room goes offline for any reason, it continues to broadcast the same SSID; this causes issues because client devices keep trying to connect to it. However, if it were to stop broadcasting the signal—or switch to broadcasting its own default SSID instead of the corporate one—this problem would be eliminated. I am not sure if this is feasible, but it would be a great feature to have. The devices I am using are: NWA50AX Pro, NWA210BE, and WAX655E.

Hi @ALYJUAN ,
the access point goes offline
Do you mean the Access Point is offline on Nebula cloud or something?

I don't want the Access Point to broadcast the SSID when it's offline in Nebula. It should turn off its signal if it doesn't have an uplink.

Hi @ALYJUAN ,
Thank you for the information. We've created a feature request and will have it evaluated internally.
