When do updates for this switch end / XGS1935-28

Hi, am wondering to when this switch is supported with updates.

And what warranty is on this switch from the date of purchase.

    Did I ask an uncomfortable question, seems like a long wait for a simple answer, rethinking zyxel as an option when it takes this long to answer, what will it be like when I need support for a product.

    Not an uncomfortable question at all. We just wanted to take the time to check this properly.

    Regarding firmware updates: the XGS1935-28 is a relatively new model released last year, so it's still actively supported and will continue to receive firmware updates. There's currently no plan to end support or updates for this switch.

    Regarding warranty, this can depend on the sales channel, region, and purchase terms, so we'd recommend confirming the exact warranty period with the reseller or distributor you will purchase the switch from.

    Hi, thank you for responding.

    I purchased a device from another manufacturer, who do respond to potential customers.

    There is just no way will a customer put up with terrible service, what would happen if

    I actually owned a ZYXEL product and needed support / repair or the likes.

    I did not just need one product, I am fitting out a school for under privileged children.

    Sad times when a large company thinks its ok to be so slack to net even answer a simple

    question in reasonable time.
