Multiple WAN balancing

Hello,

I configured a dual-WAN on a USG40 to obtain more bandwith (the connexions are very poor on the customer site). But we need more bandwith...

Question : is it possible to configure 3 (or more) WAN in a trunk ?

If yes, how can I configure it ?

    You might be able to by setting up a VLAN with interface type external and a VLAN switch.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the answser.

    But how to configure the LAN ports ?

    WAN (port 1) and OPT (port 5) are already used.

    How can I configure port 4 as an additonal WAN port ?

    By going to the VLAN tab and making the base port DMZ with a VLAN ID you then use a VLAN switch to Tag to it and Untag to a another ISP

    You can follow PeterUK's instruction to add 3rd wan based on vlan interface(Type is external).

    Hi @Athena ,

    It depends on your requirement and scenario. 

    Different load balancing algorithms provide different benefits, the choice of load balancing method depends on your needs.

    The following information for your reference.

    Weighted Round Robin: To balance the traffic load between interfaces based on their respective weights. An interface with a larger weight gets more chances to transmit traffic than an interface with a smaller weight. For example, if the weight ratio of wan1 and wan2 interfaces is 2:1, the Zyxel Device chooses wan1 for 2 session's traffic and wan2 for 1 session’s traffic in each round of 3 new sessions.

    Least Load First: To send new session traffic through the least utilized trunk member.

    Spillover: Send network traffic through the first interface in the group member list until there is enough traffic that the second interface needs to be used (and so on).
