Vendor ID based VLAN allows users to allocate network devices from different vendors into different VLANs for easy management and traffic priority.
Scenario:
A user would like to restrict devices to access his network, in this case, he/she may choose Vendor ID Based VLAN to fulfill the requirement.
Configuration for switch
Location path: Switch > Switch settings > Vendor ID based VLAN

All MAC addresses of switches that begin with 5C:E2:8C will be accessible to this network.
Configuration for switchport
Location path: Switch > Switch ports > "select a port"

Port type needs to be changed to access port, otherwise, the VLAN type is hidden.
