Vendor ID based VLAN allows users to allocate network devices from different vendors into different VLANs for easy management and traffic priority.
Scenario:
A user would like to redirect a group of devices to VLAN10. In this case, the user may choose Vendor ID Based VLAN to fulfill the requirement.
Configuration for switch
Location path: Configure > Switches > Switch settings > Vendor ID based VLAN

All MAC addresses of switches that begin with 5C:E2:8C will be redirected to VLAN10 subnet.
Configuration for switch port
Location path: Configure > Switch > Switch ports > "select a port"

Port type needs to be changed to access port, otherwise, the VLAN type is hidden.
