This is a suspension notice for Zyxel Aurora Cloud Access Camera (CAM3115), along with its dedicated cloud service in 2017. In the year since, the cloud-based cameras market has evolved rapidly, and the Aurora Cloud Access Camera service has diverged from the broader director that we are moving in as a company. Due to challenges in integrating new technologies to current version and maintaining successful products that meet users’ expectations we decided to change the plan of the Aurora Camera service. We have made the decision to discontinue the cloud service of Aurora Camera as of December 31st, 2021. From that date, the Aurora Camera will no longer function.

Cloud Service Termination

Effective December 31st, 2021, Zyxel Networks will terminate the cloud services supporting applicable Aurora Camera.

Product Support Termination

Effective July 16th, 2021, the following products have been officially suspended.

    Aurora device’s cloud service will be discontinued after 31th of December 2021.

    From that day on, Aurora cameras will no longer function.

    could the camera work as a stand alone camera for local installations like Home assistant or similar solutions ?

    will the camera be able to connect to a wifi with a local gui webpage from camera ?
