Differences between GS1920-v2 and NSW100 / NSW200?
Hey,
we need to deploy a new switch that lets us manage everything through nebula. Now, the PoE variant GS1920-v2 is almost 200€ cheaper where I live than the NSW100-P.
As far as I understand it, the GS1920-v2 and the NSW switches are all nebula compatible. Isn't it just the better choice to buy the GS1920-v2 or am I missing something? Is there something the NSW switches do better?
And what are the main differences between the NSW100 and the NSW200?
Thanks!

Hi @RFrei,
The major differences between NSW100, NSW200 and GS1920v2 are below:
NSW200 supports 10G SFP+.
NSW100 is a pure Nebula cloud Switch and GS1920v2 is NebulaFlex Switch which supports standalone and cloud mode.
In general, GS1920v2 series will be cheaper then NSW series because GS1920v2 doesn't have Nebula Pro Pack bundled license.
Here is the difference between Nebula Pro Pack and Base Pack:

Please also note that NSW100 series is already EOL and NSW200 is going to be EOL, too.
Therefore, the new feature and enhancement will be implemented on the future firmware of GS1920v2.
Here is the datasheet for GS1920v2 on our website:

Hope it helps.

Hi mMontana,
Aren't the vlan capabilities the same on the GS1920v2 and NSW 100/200?
GS1920v2 Datasheet: https://www.comms-express.com/assets/specs/GS1920v2-Series-Datasheet.pdf
NSW100 Datasheet: https://data.kommago.nl/files/pdf/zyxel_nws100-10p_datasheet.pdf
I need the 24 / 28 port versions (I don't have a use for the spf connectors).
So for the 24/28 switches the data transfer seems to be the same. And the GS1920v2 seems to be on par with mostly everything the nsw has to offer, no?
