Cloud Email security use a user based licensing. But what is meant hear as user? We have about 10 users, but each of them has at least to email addresses in different domains. How can I calculate the needed amount of user licences

Hi @tko_hemsoth
10 user accounts means: 10 receivers email accounts in your domain.
e.g.
If your domain is zyxel.com.tw, and you would like to protect client's email security.
You can define 10 receivers' user accounts from your domain.
It will scan mails those "Incoming" from external mail servers to defined user accounts.0 -
Hello Stanley, no it is not very clear for me. Let me give an example:
We have a user John Smith. This person has four mail addresses:
john.smith@contoso.com
js@contoso.com
john.smith@zyxel.com
js@zyxel.com
Do I need 4 licences in this situation or only 1 licence, because it is always the same person.

Hi @tko_hemsoth
To deploy CES service, you have to change MX record to CES server.
So it means, you have to own the domain and MX record is configure-able.
(Change MX record address to CES server address)
When sending mail to receivers' accounts, the mail will forward to CES server for scan the mail first.
After scanning completely, CES serve will forward to your mail server again.
1 license could only configure 1 domain, and it could add multiple user accounts.(5/10/25/50 users account)
