    Hi @bgfrayman,

    Welcome to Zyxel Community!
I'll PM to you the GS1900-8 beta firmware.

The permanent solution for the login problem is already in progress.
We will have it updated once the official firmware was released.

    P.S.
login with SSH is always working for me, but can't change the config, there are only show (cisco like) commands, but no configure
I would like to inform that GS1900 series is a WEB smart-managed switch, the configuration could only be customized via web GUI.

For a managed switch, you may refer to our Layer 2+ or higher entry-level switch.
This is our global link for reference.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
    Jonas,
    Jonas,
  • Good morning,

after I updated from 2.60 to 2.70 the day before yesterday, all POE supply is interrupted daily. Only the LINKs light up, POE does not. I look on the WebGUI also no device (several WLAN APs, Raspberrys) is supplied with power anymore.

If I restart the switch or deactivate-activate the POE supply, it works again.

    I have a GS1900-24HP in use.

    Many greetings
    Dennis
  • regarding 2.70 It seems that the alignment in the graphic is broken too, ledlight and connector is mis aligned in firefox, 2.60 AAHL.4 works fine .1900-24 switch

The switch image uses a different size, just clear cache or force refresh and it will be aligned

    2. Click the "Logout" button or save then reboot.
    3. Login via web GUI, and then close the browser. (Don't need to logout)
    4. Wait for more than 1 minute. (Follow by the session timeout settings)
    5. Open the browser and login.
    6. Click “Getting Started”, "Ignore" or “Status” which may lead you to the dashboard will have you automatically logout.

PS: Thanks for @thecode supporting to verify the datecode.  :)
    Sorry for the inconvenience.
    Jonas,
    Same here for a GS1900-24E :(

I haven't set up SSH or telnet....
Can I have access to the beta firmware?

To install it I have to reset the switch?

    Or simply reboot it?

    Thanks

    Marco

    Anyone can help me?

Tried "downgrading" the firmware to version GS1900-24E_2.60(AAHK.4)C0 using the ZON Utility but I get a "Fail to update firmware { Set error }" message.

    Thanks a lot

    Zyxel_Jonas helped me!

    Thanks!
  • It's been nearly a month.  Any update on a Firmware Release that fixes this?
Having to reboot every time we need access to the web gui is pretty significant hurtle on an active network.
Today I've got a GS1900-8, which I dutifully upgraded to latest before setting up VLANs for a new deployment, only to have it lock me out during post-deployment edits.
Not yet sure if I've broken any of the others (various models) that we maintain.

    Sorry for the delay.
I've tried downgrading from 2.70P0 to 2.60P4 using ZON utility and working fine.

Could you check the file size of firmware 2.60 P4 you've got, it should be 6,718KB (after unzipped)
Or you may use the firmware in the attached file, please remember to unzip it.

If the problem still exists, please share a screenshot of the error message.

    Thanks

    Thank you for contacting Zyxel.
For the reported login issue, it is already fixed with beta firmware which is available upon request. We have recently received cases on PoE issue on the same V.270 firmware which we are still investigating internally. We apologize for the inconveniences raised, but once we have done a thorough investigation on its root cause, we will combine both fixes in the same formal patch release so it can minimize the FW migration path.
We'll make a formal announcement once the official firmware is available.
