I Have experienced exactly the same issue, switch working perfectly and then the lates 2.70 firmware has caused the PoE to fail

I just did this firmware upgrade (2.70 v3) on my switch that has been running fine for YEARS and this update broke my PoE! It was working fine just minutes ago, did the upgrade, now I get the error POE INIT FAIL.

Please pull this firmware ASAP!

Is your previous firmware V2.70(Axxx.0)? If yes, please help to upgrade to V2.70(Axxx.5). We have fixed the PoE failure issue due to upgrading firmware from V2.70(Axxx.0). For more information, please reference below Release note:

Tom, you're a hero! Simplest fix ever, though Zyxels service is really great (big shoutout for them!) and I received my replacement today- this is a really nice and easy way to repair this device. Thanks for sharing.
