Hi,

some time ago I bought a GS1900-24E and I wanted to integrate it into my network now. As I entered the admin interface it showed itself as an ALL-SG8324M and the most recent firmware is from 2018. I tried to install one of the GS1900 firmware but they are all rejected as being "Copy: Illegal software format".
I did not install the Allnet firmware. Is there any chance to install the original zyxel firmware on that device.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Michael

    Hi @Zyxel_Adam,

It has been some time ago that I opened this request.

As you suggested I tried to use the latest firmware but without success. The error message keeps coming up: "Copy: Illegal software format".

And yes, I am using the bix files from the downloaded zip.

I tried it again today because I saw that there is an updated firmware from October 2023 available but still have not luck.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Michael
