App-Patrol configuration like Layer 3 Port groups

Hi ZYXEL Team,

I can understand that under Layer 3 (port-based) only the ports are defined, that are allowed to forward traffic to the Extranet or another internal vLAN in the Security Policy.

But ... why had i block all "unwanted" App Patterns and not able to select the required Patterns to forward =
What is the background or the idea at ZXEL that it's different?

The result is an inflated config-file which also require a longer reboot/boot times.
